Indications:
• SANFOTRIL contains Enrofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic with concentration-dependent bactericidal action by inhibiting DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, effective against a broad range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria in animals.
• SANFOTRIL is indicated for the treatment of Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by enrofloxacin-susceptible strains of E. coli, Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica and Mycoplasma spp. in cattle, E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus in sheep, E. coli, Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica, Mycoplasma spp. and Staphylococcus aureus in goats.
Administration & Dosage:
I.V. (Cattle) or S.C. injection, with the following recommended dosage for 3 - 5 consecutive days :
• General dose: 1 ml/20 kg of b.w.
Do not administer more than 10 ml/S.C. injection site (Cattle), 6 ml/S.C. injection site (Sheep and goats).
Withdrawal period:
• Withdraw 3 days (I.V.), 4 days (S.C.) before milk collection in cattle.
• Withdraw 5 days (I.V.), 12 days (S.C.) before slaughter in cattle.
• Withdraw 3 days before milk collection, 4 days before slaughter in sheep.
• Withdraw 4 days before milk collection, 6 days before slaughter in goats.
Storage condition:
Keep in a dry, cool place and keep away from sunlight.
Store at room temperature.
