Indication/Description:
VIA-IODINE is a broad-spectrum, topical antiseptic and microbicide used to remove germs from the skin, from mucous membranes, equipment, tools... in the farm. It effectively kills both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and viruses when used as directed. It is also useful against fungi and protozoa.
VIA-IODINE is primarily used to disinfect wounds, abrasions, and lacerations. It can also be used for short-term surface disinfection of teats and mammary glands in case of injuries. It is non-stinging and non-staining and can be used before applying bandages. VIA-IODINE can be used on canine, feline, horse, poultry and other animals.
Administration & dosage
Dilute in water with the following recommended concentration:
• Disinfection of udder wound: 10ml/2 litres of water
• Disinfection of injection site, in surgery, castration: 10ml/litres of water.
• Misting or aerial spray on the animal or poultry when an epidemic occurs: 15ml/ 4 litres of water.
• Disinfecting equipment and premises: 10ml/ 4 litres of water.
• Hatching egg sanitation: 10ml/ 20 litres of water.
• Sterilization of drinking water: 10ml/ 20litrers of water.
Medicated water should be used within 24 hours.
