Indication/Description:
Doxycycline belongs to the group of tetracyclines and acts bacteriostatic against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is also active against Chlamydia, Mycoplasma and Rickettsia spp.
VIA.DOXY-200 is indicated for gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by Doxycycline sensitive micro-organisms, like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. in livestocks.
Administration & Dosage:
Oral administration via drinking water or feed with the following recommended
concentration:
• Calves, goats and sheep: Twice daily 5 g per 200 kg body weight for 3 - 5 days.
• Poultry: 1 kg per 2000 - 4000 litres of drinking water for 3 - 5 days.
Prepared solutions must be consumed within 24 hours or mixed with feed, the product should be used immediately.
Withdraw period:
Withdraw 14 days before slaughter for calves, goats and sheep.
Withdraw 7 day before slaughter for poultry
Storage:
Keep in dry, cool place and keep away from sunlight
Store in room temperature
