Indications:
Amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic broad-spectrum penicillin with a bactericidal action against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
VIAMOXYL is indicated to treat gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections caused by amoxicillin sensitive micro-organisms, like Actinobacillus equuli, Actinobacillus lignieresi, Actinomyces bovis, Bacillus anthracis, Bordetella bronchiseptica,Clostridium spp.Corynebacterium spp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae,Escherichia coli, Fusiformis spp., Haemophilus spp., Moraxella spp., Mannheimia spp. Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella spp. Staphylococci and streptococci.
Administration & Dosage:
Shake well before use.
General dosage: 15 mg/ kg b.w (equivalent to 1ml/10 kg b.w) repeated if necessary after 48 hours.
Administration: Cattle, sheep and goats: I.M injection only
Canine and feline: I.M or S.C injection
If dose volume exceeds 15 ml in cattle and 4 ml in sheep, it should be divided into two or more sites.
Treatment period: 3 – 5 days consecutively.
Withdrawal period:
Withdraw 29 days before slaughter in sheep.
Withdraw 39 days before slaughter in cattle.
Withdraw 108 hours before milk collection in cattle.
Storage condition:
Keep in a dry, cool place and keep away from sunlight
Store at room temperature
