| Compound | 1.0 g of powder contains: 500 mg of apramycin sulfate, excipients and filler. |
| Application | This medication is intended for the treatment of young farm animals and poultry with infectious diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to apramycin. It is prescribed for gastroenterocolitis in piglets, lambs, calves, and poultry caused by salmonella, colibacillosis, pseudomonas, and cocci, as well as toxic dyspepsia. Apravetin is administered orally once a day for 5-7 days in the following doses: - calves (up to six weeks of age) – 40-80 mg of the drug per kg of animal weight with drinking water, milk or milk replacer; - piglets (up to 120 days old) – 15-25 mg of the drug per kg of animal weight or 0.25-0.5 g of the drug per 1 liter of drinking water; - lambs (up to six weeks of age) – 20 mg of the drug per kg of animal weight; - for replacement young laying hens, broiler chickens - 50-100 mg of the drug per kg of bird weight or 0.5-1 g of the drug per 1 liter of water. The solution should be used within 24 hours. Before use, the calculated dose should be dissolved in 5-10 times the volume of liquid (water, milk, or milk substitute). It is not recommended to prepare the solution in rusty metal containers, as iron ions reduce the antibiotic's activity. |

It is prohibited to use the drug on productive animals (all species) whose milk is used for human consumption. It is prohibited to use the drug on birds (laying hens and others) whose eggs are used for human consumption.
